I joined this game and now I want to leave it. How do I do that? Go to the "My Info" page. In this list of your games there will be a link that says "Leave". Click on this link to remove yourself from that game. However, to help prevent the abusive behavior of creating games and leaving immediately, the game must have been created for at least five hours before anyone can leave the game. |
| |
How do I read the game log? The game log that appears below the game map will detail the actions of the game as it progresses. The latest action will appear on the top. You will see something similar to "Air Elemental[8, 6] attacks Crag Vulture[7, 7] - 10 - 5." This shows the units that were involved in the conflict and their repective coordinates on the map. Square 1, 1 is located in the top left corner. |
| |
The map isn't changing as my opponent is making his moves. You will have to refresh the page to see the changes your opponent is making. It is best to use the reload map button provided, as the refresh button on your browser has issues with some browsers (namely Firefox). |
| |
What are the different color borders around my units for? The borders are just a quick way to see the status of your army at a glance. If the border is black, the unit has nothing affecting it. If the border is red, the unit is wounded. If the border is green, the unit is poisoned. If the border is white, the unit is blessed. |

Can I have more than one account? Only one account is allowed per person. If you share the same computer/IP address with someone you will need to request an IP share permission (you will need to comply with some rules). |
| |
Why should I upgrade my account? Upgrading will give you access to all five teams as well as allow you to participate in ten games at a time as opposed to just one game. You will also be allowed to join/create games with three or four players as opposed to just two player games. Also, your account will receive a ranking based on your past performances as well as those to come. |
| |
How long does it take formy account to upgrade after payment? If you follow all of the steps in the upgrade payment process, it should upgrade immediately. |
| |
I have paid for an upgrade, but my account still shows as a free account. If you have gone through the upgrade payment process and still not received your upgrade, please contact us. |
| |
Will my upgrade auto-renew? All payments are one-time. You will not be billed again unless you choose to upgrade your account again after it expires. |
| |
Can I share my account with someone else? No. Account sharing is forbidden as it interferes with the ranking system. |
| |
What will happen to my account if I do not login regularly? To help maintain the stability of the site, free accounts are deleted if players do not log in in after a period of 20 days. Upgraded accounts do not have this limitation. Deleting an account includes deletion of all things related to the account, including games, rankings, etc. |

Why did I get a warning claiming that I was using a shared IP? If you get a warning claiming we detected that your account is using a shared IP with someone else, it means one or more Summonaria accounts are connecting to the Internet with the same IP as you. This doesn't mean you are cheating and have a second account, it just means you have the same IP address as another Summonaria account(s). |
| |
Why am I being accused of using a shared IP? I don't think I'm using one. If you don't know why it's showing as a shared IP it could be one or more of the following:
* Someone else at your home is playing aswell.
* You are logging to the game in a public network (school, work, library, cybercafe, hotel, airport, LAN party, etc), which shares the same internet connection (and same IP address) with all computers, and someone in that network plays Summonaria as well.
* You are using a public proxy server to connect to the internet.
* You logged into Summonaria at a friend's house or allowed a friend to log in at yours. Just once is enough to show in our system. If this is the case just don't do it again and it won't be a problem.
* Your ISP (internet service provider) uses shared IPs for some of their clients. In this case you should contact your ISP and ask, if possible, for a non-shared IP address. |
| |
What do I do if I'm caught using a shared IP? If this happens you will need either to find a way to use an unique IP address or you'll have to request a special shared IP permission, indicating the reason why you are using a shared IP with another account(s) and your account must be upgraded. If you agree to comply with this rule, you must then request a special IP permission by filling out this Form. If you are playing with a friend in the same network, but can't comply with the rules, then one of you must delete his/her account, so the other can continue to play. Please bare in mind that if you stop using a shared IP your account will not be deleted, so you don't have to request a shared IP permission if you receive a warning, you just need to stop using shared IPs. |
| |
Why do I have to upgrade my account to request a shared IP permission? We require players to upgrade their accounts to minimize chances of people abusing this permission. Otherwise anyone could just claim to be playing with a family member and it would be too hard for us to be able to confirm that information. When a player requests a shared IP permission means we will be monitoring his account to prevent abuse and cheating, which requires an extra effort from our part, therefor it's only fair that we limit this option to paying customers. |
| |
I was already granted a special IP sharing permission. Why am I receiving warnings? This is certainly because you are not complying with the rules for shared IPs, most likely your account is no longer upgraded. Please bear in mind that the special IP sharing permission is only valid while you comply with the rules mentioned above. |
| |
I was already granted a special IP sharing permission. Why did the others using the same IP as me were suspended? When you are granted a shared IP permission it's meant for you only. Any other players using the same IP as you will still have to request a shared IP permission for them selfs, or they will get suspended anyway. |
| |
If I stop using a shared IP will I still need to request a shared IP permission? No, if you stop using a shared IP when you receive our first warnings you won't need to request a shared IP permission and your account won't be suspended. If your account is already suspended, then you will be required to upgrade in order to reactivate it, so make sure you fix the shared IP problem once you receive the first warning. |
| |
Can I know which accounts are sharing the same IP as me? Due to privacy laws we can't share that information with anyone. The person(s) in question may not want you to know they are also playing at the same location as you. |
